Turning 40 and the 100th Pumpkin Show

This weekend on my way to meet Patrick, Claudia and Amelia to go to the Circleville Pumpkin Show, my car turned over to 40,000 miles! Wow.

Here are some photos from our day although we don't have photos of the big highlight of Amelia's day when she got to play with a passerby's dog or "bow wow" as she calls them!

A photo of the really big pumpkin pie to send off to the German relatives to help explain why Americans are getting so fat...


Taking a break to eat a cream puff (staying true to their German heritage). We also had pumpkin pie. Amelia got a lot more snuggly when I had a piece of pie for her to share ; )
