Overly excited

Usually when you make plans to visit friends you try not to stay too long. You want to have fun and visit but really don't want to become a burden. I just made plans to go see friends in Detroit in a few weeks and I was pleasantly surprised to hear their excitement or maybe over excitement to have visitors! They already have the itinerary planned (we scheduled this three hours ago) and have requested I come Friday night instead of Saturday morning.

This is the part that makes me laugh and is oh so "them":

"Be prepared for fun!!!! (Caution: We don't get out much in Detroit -- so we kind of over-do any opportunity to see friends.)"

I'm thining I will need a weekend to recover from my weekend in Michigan : )
