Anatomy of a female mind
Sunday afternoon: My friend meets a guy for coffee at Starbucks.
Later Sunday afternoon: Friend calls me to say she had a good time and that she'd like to get to know him better but definitely wants to get to know others too.
Sunday evening: Guy emails my friend to tell her he had a good time and would like to get together again sometime.
Monday: Friend writes guy back.
Tuesday afternoon: Friend emails "So, I wrote him back on Monday and I still haven't heard back from him. I don't get it. I know I shouldn't be thinking about this but I am.....I'm still thinking about this.....why hasn't he emailed me back....."
