Making up for lost time

I haven't been to Chicago in years--closing in on a decade even. It's not that I haven't wanted to go, it just never seemed to work out quite right.

So when the opportunity to visit the windy city came up, I took it. Booked the flight on Southwest and was ready to go pack it all in to a weekend trip to make up for lost time.

Today I get a road trip email from some girlfriends about going somewhere next month. Guess where we're headed to in December.....Chicago.... : )
